"This book is awesome!" Rating:

Comments:  I don't know what's the deal with "Richard Krause" and his problem from 1985, but this book is awesome. If you want to identify a prewar car, find out its history, original price, place of manufacture, etc., you NEED this book. It has 5,000 cars in it - need I say more? Mine is wore out so I'm getting a new one.

Comments:  Sounds like someone is trying to get a free book! Its spendie but worth it. I'm getting the standard catalog as a gift.
"a must for a car historian" Rating:

Comments:  I used to read this book during study hall in my high school days back in the early 80's instead of doing my assignments.Ever since then I have been on the lookout for a copy and am thrilled its offered through OCW.Another reviewer complained about his waiting time but my copy was on back order and it came just a few weeks ago so do not let that be a deterrent in ordering an excellent source of info on pre-war cars.I have other car encyclopedias and they fall short in range and substance compared to the Kimes/Clark work.Although $75.00 seems a bit steep at first, I can assure you your getting a lot bang for the buck. Its a massive work thats worth every penny and no automotive library much less car enthusiast should be with out it.I give it 5 stars for excellent.
